Assessment and Promotion Criteria
Classes IX-X
1. Scholastic Area
The Scholastic subjects i.e. English, Hindi, Mathematics, Environmental Studies (for Class III comprising of Science & Social Science) and Computer Applications will be graded on a 5-point grading system (O to D). Computer Applications will be assessed on the basis of practical knowledge of the concepts learnt.

2. Co-Scholastic activities
The Co-scholastic Activities like Music, Dance, Art, Sport Activities, General Awareness and Value Education will be graded on a 3- point grading system (A to C)

1. SCHOLASTIC AREA:
The Academic session comprises of two terms - Term-1 and 2
The school shall conduct 60 marks exam at the end of each term, as follows: -
The school shall conduct one periodic written test in the each term, carrying a weightage of 10 marks.
The aim is to enhance the seriousness of students towards being regular in submitting assignments and home works. This also addresses the critical aspect of regularity, punctuality, neatness and notebook upkeep.
These are the subject-specific activities aimed at enrichment of the understanding and skill development of the students. These activities would be carried out throughout the term; however, evaluated at the term-end.

2. CO-SCHOLASTIC ACTIVITIES
For the holistic development of the child, co-curricular activities like Visual and Performing Arts, Health and Physical Education will be graded on a 3 point grading scale (A to C). The aspect of regularity, sincere participation, output and teamwork would be the generic criteria for grading these activities.
3. DISCIPLINE
Students will be assessed for the discipline based on factors like attendance, sincerity, behaviour, values, tidiness, respectfulness for rules and regulations, attitude towards society, nation and others.
